Celebrating Government Finance Professionals Week • March 16–20, 2026

The Georgia Government Finance Officers Association (GGFOA) is pleased to announce the launch of a new statewide initiative to recognize Government Finance Professionals Week, observed during the third week of March (March 16–20, 2026).

This recognition highlights the essential contributions of Georgia’s government finance professionals—individuals who work diligently behind the scenes to ensure the effective, transparent, and responsible management of public funds. Their expertise strengthens public trust and supports the well-being of communities across our state.

We invite all member organizations to join us in this inaugural celebration. GGFOA will be coordinating a series of recognition efforts—including proclamations, group photos, and statewide activities—to spotlight the dedication and professionalism of those who serve in public finance.
