Each year GGFOA recognizes outstanding members of the organization. The following award recipients were honored at GGFOA’s most recent annual conference.

Created in 1988, the President’s Award recognizes one member annually for leadership and contributions to GGFOA.

Finance Officer Certification

Local government finance professionals from communities across Georgia have achieved Certified Finance Officer status through the University of Georgia's Carl Vinson Institute of Government. GGFOA congratulates those who have earned their Level I or Level II certification.
