Lali Shaffer is a senior financial specialist in the Supervision and Regulation division at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. She is responsible for analyzing current trends and emerging risks in the banking industry and economy. She serves as the coordinator for the Horizontal Risk Group and Risk Council within the division. Previously, Shaffer was an assistant vice president in the Treasury Group with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta. She actively managed the balance sheet, while focusing on liquidity and risk management. She was also responsible for pricing and hedging transactions in the capital markets. Shaffer graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in finance and a master’s in business administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
