My name is Amber Yeargin, and I am happily married and have two precious little boys. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in May of 2008 with my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Health Science. I began my career in health promotion as a Program Coordinator working for Cobb County Senior Services which is a multipurpose facility for active older adults. I made the decision to further my education in 2010 and graduated from Kennesaw State University in May of 2012 with my Master’s degree in Applied Exercise and Health Science. While pursuing my graduate degree I worked as health coach which is where I was able to implement my enthusiasm for health and wellness. I have experiencewith facilitating health screenings, discussing biometric and lipid panel screening results, one-on-one coaching sessions regarding a variety of health and wellness related topics, and conducting healthy learning seminars and workplace challenges. Personally, I feel as though health and wellbeing is about living a life of personal responsibility and making the commitment each day to take care of your physical, mental and social self.
